Please join us in the Chapel on Tuesday, August 18 from 6:30 to 8:30 for a party to watch the documentary 1946: The Mistranslation that Shifted a Culture. This award-winning documentary follows a group of Christian activists as they unravel how and why the term “homosexual” first entered the English translation of the Bible in 1946. The film is 1.5 hours long, and we’ll have a discussion afterward (snacks too!). Sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board next to the church office.
