You Are Invited to Visit

No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are cordially invited to come visit Hope United Church of Christ and join in worship with us. We want to meet you and discover how our faith journeys intersect and how we might continue growing in God’s love together.

There are two ways to visit:

• You are welcome to come any Sunday and be anonymous as you experience worship and fellowship at Hope.
• You can choose a Sunday and let us know you are coming. We will prepare a nametag and identify a member to greet you and be your companion for the morning. (Email form below)

Sunday Morning Schedule:

8:15 a.m. Worship Service in the Chapel
On the fourth Sunday of the month, this is a Taizė style service. Click here to learn more about Taizė.
9:00 a.m.—10:00 a.m. Hospitality, coffee, tea and donuts, in the Chapel Narthex
9:00 a.m. Choir Rehearsal
9:15 a.m. Youth Sunday School, grades 6-12, in the Youth Room
10:30 a.m. Worship Service in the Sanctuary
Sunday school for children ages toddler through 5th grade occurs during worship after the Children’s Time.
11:45 a.m. Hospitality, coffee and donuts, in Chapel Narthex

Where to park:

There is a small parking lot behind the church off the alley that intersects Tamm Ave. on the side of the church. Street parking is also available on Eichelberger and Tamm. Handicapped parking is available on the side of the church and is accessible from the alley.

What to Wear:

Regardless of what you wear, you are welcome to worship with us. On any given Sunday, there are those who wear dresses and coats and ties and those who wear shirts, jeans, and shorts.

What to Expect in Worship:

Worship is at the heart of who we are! We gather together as a community of faith each week to renew our commitment to God, Christ and each other. Our services follow an order of worship that includes prayer, organ music, singing, a children’s time and a sermon from our pastor. We serve communion at both services on the first Sunday of each month. Everyone is welcome at the communion table at Hope UCC regardless of church affiliation or no affiliation.

Your Children are Welcome!

Hope provides child care for infants and up from 8:00 am to 11:45 am each Sunday. If you prefer, children are also welcome in worship. (Link to Youth and Children Ministry page)
