Bible Study in Person with Pastor Sarah

Our next monthly Bible Study series will begin in January, which gives you plenty of time to sign up!  The series is entitled “Sowing Tears, Reaping Joy” and it incorporates the powerful music of Brahms’ Requiem with in-depth study of the biblical passages chosen for this remarkable musical piece. As described by the publisher, “Follow this famous requiem on a tour of Biblical prompts about death, grief, the brevity of life, and faith for here and hereafter.  Through music and Scripture, we move from graveside to grieving, from the challenges of self-reflection to new perspectives and hope beyond.”   No expertise of classical music or the Bible is needed! Student books are $15 each and will be ordered in advance. Therefore, please sign up by December 15^th so books can be ordered and distributed before the first session on January 25^th, 7 p.m.  This series will be held in person in the Friendly Room, with a modified Zoom option for those unable to attend in person.  Questions?
